Abstract(in English) | For safe and adequate laparoscopic abdominal surgery, it is important to have a clear grasp of the structures of the blood vessels. Consequently, there is a need to develop high precision tools for three-dimensional viewing of blood vessel structures with anatomical labels. Previous study utilized the conditional random field (CRF) with a constant pairwise term penalty coefficient to estimate blood vessel labels. It results in ignorance of significant details between neighboring branches and homogenization. In our proposed method, We utilize the Contrast Sensitive Potentials to enforce the local consistency between neighboring branches. We applied the proposed method to 50 cases of arterial phase abdominal X-ray CT volumes. Experimental results showed that the F-measures of the proposed method were 92.2% for abdominal arteries. |
