Far Field Estimation on the Earth using Real Source Information Derived by Near Field

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a method of far field estimation on the earth by near field. The proposed method derives real source information based on method of moments (MoM) by linear approximation of conductor surface and estimates far field by assuming a mirror image source relative to the earth using plane wave reflection coefficient. The simulation results using a conductor box in which the monopole antenna is placed verify the accuracy of this method. Then, we confirm the effectiveness of the perfect electric conductor (PEC) ground approximation of the circular ground for reducing calculation time when real source information is derived. We also show that analysis accuracy can be got closer to plate approximation by introducing radial connection in the antenna connecting part in the linear approximation.
