Abstract(in English) | Telecom carriers are continuously required to reduce the CAPEX/OPEX because of the expansion of thebroadband market. About digital exchange, deployed in 1982, all of the systems were composed of own developedhardware/software, so specific development and maintenance technologies are needed, but for low-cost and high-qualityservice, digital exchange and telephone SIP server are promoted to reduce hardware and software cost. As for hardware, general CPU and telecom specifications ATCA are adopted. As for software, IROS, standardized OS for telecom systems,and Linux are promoted. NGN (Next Generation Network) is also needed to adopt general hardware such as IA server, and to adopt new technologies such as server virtualization and NFV, but for telephone services which is needed high quality/reliability/availability, can't be covered with general technologies. In this paper, we clarify the functional requirements of telecommunications middleware which are not covered with general technologies, as an example, we propose and evaluated program update method without service interruption. |
