Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed the living-body localization in the indoor environment using Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radar for the safety-monitoring system. In this method, the biological information is extracted from the time-variant channel, and the living-body location estimation is suitable for the multi-path environment. However, our studies have focused on the only localization, and it is difficult to estimate the human posture. In this paper, we propose the human posture identification based on height and Radar Cross Section (RCS) of subject using MIMO radar. The experimental results show that the proposed method can classify 4 postures at the averaged recognition rate 88.24%.
