An Extension of Dip Suppression Technique in Wheeler Radiation Efficiency Using Rational Fraction Fitting of Reflection Coefficient for Small Antennas

Abstract(in English) A technique for eliminating discontinuities due to cavity resonance in radiation efficiency estimated by Wheeler cap method and reflection method is extended. Measured reflection coefficients of antenna under test inside the cavity are fitted to a rational function and common factor which poles are approximately equal to zeros should be canceled. This report proposes that some combinations of poles and zeros which can compose all-pass function should be canceled. Moreover, the extension is validated for measured reflection coefficients for monopole antenna.
