Improvement of Cache Reference Rate in Information-Centric Networking-based Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract(in English) We proposed to wireless sensor network applying ICN(Information-Centric Networking) to provide a variety of M2M services. In general, ICN does not need to consider that place of data and energy consumption of node. However, in a sensor network, these are very important matters. We have proposed the location-based clustering method for ICN-based wireless sensor network. By using the clustering method, Cluster Head (CH) is able to cache a lot of data because data transmission routes are concentrated at CHs. It is desirable to avoid to cache data, which are not referenced, to improve the cache reference rate. In this paper, we propose the data cache method based on history of data requirements. We evaluated the proposed method by simulation experiments and discussed its effectiveness. As a result, the proposed method is able to increase cache reference rate.
