| Abstract(in English) | An injection-locked frequency divider（ILFD）with capacitor array is studied to obtain a wide locking range and high input sensitivity. Generally, LC-type ILFD can be operated at high frequencies, but its drawback is a narrow locking range, so, an ILFD usually needs a large input signal. In this work, ILFD with wide locking range and low input power is realized using capacitor array simultaneously. The measurement results of proposed ILFD achieves a 17.5% locking range and 0.17 FOM when the input power is －4 dBm. This circuit is designed using TSMC 180 nm CMOS process, and the core current is 1.5 mA under a supply voltage of 1.8 V. |
