Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we introduce an energy-efficient upload scheme of sensor information in Long Term Evolution (LTE) communication. Because we assume that sensor information is utilized by mobile application on smartphones, we collect GPS, acceleration, geomagnetism and barometric pressure sensor information by a smartphone. After collecting these sensor information, we upload them via LTE by changing the upload interval, upload data volume and measure the upload energy consumption of the smartphone. We also construct an energy consumption model of sensor data upload and validate an energy saving effect based on the model and actual observations.
