The Security of 3-Round RSA-OAEP against Related-Key Attacks

Abstract(in English) In 2013, Jia et al. proved that RSA-OAEP is secure against related-key attacks with respect to affine functions.In related-key attacks, which is formalized by Bellare and Kohno, the function that the adversary can apply to the key (related-key derivation functions) considers its domain and range as the secret key space.However, because the adversary does not know the secret key space of the RSA, it is not appropriate to use the related-key derivation function as it has been defined.We solve this problem by extending the domain and range to a set with appropriate operations that contains the secret key space as a subset.In this paper, we revise the definition of the related key derivation function and prove that the RSA using 3-Round OAEP is secure against related-key attacks with respect to affine functions.
