Loitering Detection using 3D Trajectory Clustering

Abstract(in English) We have to deal with loitering of dementia patients since the aging of Japan's population is advancing. Prevention of loitering is important to keep patients safe, however observation is hard work for stuff in rest home or families of patients. This paper presents a technique to detect loitering from 3D trajectories of walkers using results of clustering. Furthermore, we evaluated the technique using results of experiments using trajectories of walkers recorded at an entrance of rest home.
