Performance features of the Overlaid Sensor Data Management Platform

Abstract(in English) We have implemented a generalized IoT platform and a testbed, which can be applied for SmatGrid-related systems and services. There are following two important features in the proposed platform: The proposed platform can improve the flexibility and easiness in embedding sensors into an information system by providing the repository service which provides the generalized information models about the abstract sensors and the structures assigned with these abstract sensors. The proposed platform also provides the composite services for data archive for IoT systems, which are implemented as a federation of using publish/subscribe facility with network-centric approaches. Therefore, we can regard the persistence layer and data management as independent abstract services. In this paper, we briefly explain about the performance features of our platform with some considerations on it.
