Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nowadays, Wireless power transfer (WPT) is attracting our interest. Using WPT, we can charge our terminals in spite of its position and wires are needless for charging. This is effective for reducing batteries. How- ever, as shortages, WPT has lower RF–DC conversion efficiency than that of wired charging and interference with communication systems. Intermittent wave has high peak-to-average power ratio. Previous studies show that this kind of wave form is effective for boosting RF–DC conversion efficiency. In addition, intermittent wave is effective for avoiding the interference. In this study, we analyzed the output voltage form of rectifiers with intermittent input. First, we simulated the output voltage of rectifier with intermittent input by using the transient method. From the analysis of this wave form, we hypothesis that the output voltage can be expressed by time constants. In this assumption, output voltage wave can be regarded as exponential functions. In this approximation, we can calculate the time constants. Output voltage wave is expressed by these time constants. We calculated the RF–DC conversion efficiency and ripple content by estimated output voltage. Finally, we compared the experimental results and calculation results.
