A Decoupling Method for 2 Elements MIMO Antennas using a Short Stub

Abstract(in English) Recently, there is MIMO technology which is one of wireless technologies. This technology communicates in parallel by using multiple antennas. It can improve communication speed and capacity. On the other hand, mobile terminals have been miniaturized. If MIMO antennas are introduced in miniature terminals, multiple antennas are needed to put closely. Then a mutual coupling occurs, and it generates deterioration communication speed and capacity. In previous decoupling method, to connect antennas with L or C is confirmed. In addition, instead of L or C, adding branch element to antenna is also confirmed. However, it is necessary to add longer branch than an original antenna in method of equivalent to connecting with L. As yet, there is a problem of increasing of antenna volume. Therefore we propose a new decoupling method using a short stub instead of the longer brunch.
