Abstract(in English) Considering mobile throughput fluctuation is important to provide comfortable and energy-friendly video delivery for mobile users. In this paper, we propose an estimation model which calculates playback interruption time and energy consumption based on time-series throughput data. To evaluate characteristics of our proposed model, we compare actual measurement values with estimated values calculated by the proposed model. From evaluation's results, we confirm that the proposed model can estimate playback interruption time and energy consumption with high accuracy (88% and 87%) . In addition, we also predict future playback interruption time and energy consumption by using throughput prediction technology.
