Abstract(in English) Nowadays, Massive MIMO is an attractive technology for the 5th generation of mobile communications system (5G) in order to further improve the spectrum efficiency and boost system capacity. To clarify its potential performance, many investigations and demonstrations have been widely conducted by both academia and industry [1-4]. For the past few years, we have developed a 5G test bed, including TDD Massive MIMO and have demonstrated its performance [5-6]. In this paper, the large scale field experimental trial of downlink TDD Massive MIMO at the 4.5 GHz band is demonstrated, including the system performance of multi-user (MU) Massive MIMO with different number of user equipments (UEs), spatial layers, and inter-UE separation. The experimental result indicates that TDD Massive MIMO using the developed 5G test bed greatly improves the spectrum efficiency in large scale user deployments.
