High throughput and fairness control for multi-hop wireless network with dynamic numbers of frame aggregation

Abstract(in English) Ad hoc network has been attracting attention as a Device-to-Device network in 5G. It is desirable that each node which is a user terminal in multi-hop networks has fair throughput. In order to achieve fair throughput, there is a method of applying WRR(Weighted Round Robin) assuming equal sending opportunity which WLANs usually provide. However, when equal nature is not maintained by some reasons, the WRR could hardly keep fair throughput. In this research, we propose and evaluate a method that improves the total throughput and also ensures throughput fairness by each node dynamically determining a sending amount of Frame Aggregation in IEEE802.11n, depending on the basis of its own buffer storage utilization.
