| Abstract(in English) | Previously, we have proposed the holding access-point (AP) assignment algorithm for IEEE802.11 wireless local-area networks, which selects the proper AP type from the holding APs to each AP location in the network field, and assigns its proper channel depending on the network congestions. Unfortunately, this channel assignment uses only non-interfered channels, although a much larger number of partially interfered channels have been defined for IEEE802.11 protocols, and by adopting them, the improvement of the network performance can be expected. In this paper, we extend the channel assignment of the holding AP assignment algorithm by modeling the partially interfered channels. The effectiveness of our proposal is verified through simulations in simple topology instances. |
