Abstract(in English) We investigate the application of carbon nanotube (CNT) composite paper to surface electrodes for surface myoelectric signal detection. The advantages of the CNT composite paper are in the flexibility and easy fabrication. We found that the CNT composite paper achieved high myoelectric signal sensitivity comparable to the commercially available AgCl/Ag surface electrode, although the sheet resistance of the CNT composite paper is more than two orders of magnitude higher than the metal. We discuss the mechanism of the high sensitivity. We also mention the improvement of the water resistance and mechanical strength of the material.
