Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the 5th generation mobile network, a demand for ad hoc networks in which devices directly communicate each other without using base stations would increase. Densely located ad hoc networks have been not well studied in throughput characteristics with considering capture effect or radio interference which are a function between distances of networks. A study discussed on a very simple two-ad hoc network model where parallel transfer can improve total throughput. It is expected that more complicated characteristics will appear in more than three multiple interference sources, i.e. more than three ad hoc networks. In this research, we will investigate throughput characteristics on network locations for three ad hoc networks. Then, based on this characteristic, we propose and evaluate a heuristic method obtaining the best location where the maximum throughput is achieved for any numbers of ad hoc networks. The results show that the proposed method provides a good approximation with only 4% errors from that in the exact best solution.
