Abstract(in English) | For high-efficiency wearable power generator, we have investigated the ZnO nanostructures grown on carbon fabric (CAF) as a novel flexible thermoelectric material. We have fabricated ZnO nanostructures on CAF by a hydrothermal method. In the present study, ZnO nanopillar and nanosheet structures were formed on CAF, de- pending on the hydrothermal treatment time. The crystallographic structure and ultraviolet (UV) protection factor were confirmed by x-ray diffraction and UV transmission spectra. The horizontal Seebeck coefficient of the ZnO– nanostructure/CAF samples were evaluated to be 5 μV/K, which is considered to originate from the characteristics of the CAF rather than the ZnO nanostructures. |
