Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, 5G research aiming at Ultra Mobile Broadband Communication, Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communication, massive Machine-Type Communication has been actively studied. Focusing on Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communication, autonomous vehicle technology utilizing a cellular network has attracted attention. The authors focused on the fact that the Doppler shift has an angle dependency, applied a directional antenna as a diversity branch, and carried out the propagation measurements. As a result, it was confirmed that the SIR characteristics are almost equivalent as compared with the omni antenna. In this paper, we measure the Doppler shift characteristics when two directional antennas are installed in the front / back direction and the left / right direction with respect to the traveling direction of the vehicle at the 3 GHz band, and confirm that the Doppler spread decreases by measurements. From the measurement results, it was confirmed that the Doppler spread can be reduced by attaching the directional antenna in the left / right direction as compared with the case in the front / back direction.
