Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various methods for arc extinction are used in DC switching device. One of them is the means that outgassing resin located near the contacts extinguish arc. In this method, it is important to supply the gas which inhibits arc duration and raises arc voltage quickly. In this paper, we tested 7 resin materials. We reported 6,6-nylon and melamine-phenol had higher effect on arc extinction than the others.
