Abstract(in English) | In this paper a gesture interface is reported, which has been developed for persons with severe motor dysfunctions. A commercially-available image range sensor is utilized in the interface in order to realize a non-contact and non-constraint interface. Two participants with severe motor dysfunctions used a prototype gesture interface at home. The participants evaluated it though three subjective evaluation methods, Quebec User Evaluation of Satisfaction with assistive Technology 2.0, Psychosocial Impact of Assistive Devices Scale and System Usability Scale. The results indicated that one participant was satisfied with the interface to some extent and the other did not satisfy with its usability and size. |
