Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report about a study on very short time feature quantities for the pedestrian recognition with cars using Multiple Frequency Stepped Radar with Complementary Phase Code and machine learning algorithms. The features are calculated from the features of shapes on Range-Doppler velocity (RV) maps and the power distributions of RV maps and so on. This study will provide applications for the short time radar recognition even in the bad weather or dark place comparing with recognition using cameras or movies.
