| Abstract(in English) | UHDTV Super-HiVision satellite broadcasting is coming soon, owing to standardization of high efficiency video coding scheme HEVC and satellite broadcasting system for Ultra high definition television. Broadcasters carrying out UHDTV practical satellite broadcasting service using Broadcasting Satellite and 110 east longitude Communication Satellite are certified by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, 24 January, 2017. Practical satellite broadcasting will be launched in December 2018. In this report, standardization flow of UHDTV satellite broadcasting, features of this broadcasting service, outline of standard and issues toward practical use are explained. |
