Abstract(in English) We have developed a new network system for efficient realization of WDM high-order QAM optical communications, enabled by network distribution of low-phase-noise, frequency-stabilized seed lightwave. The main advantage is the elimination of dedicated DSPs for carrier phase and frequency offset estimations. We review the recent progress from the initial demonstration up to the long-distance seed lightwave distribution.
