Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is possible to measure patients' EEG without stress using a portable instrument which has only one electric pole. We can estimate the ratio of αwave from the measured EEG using Fourier analysis, determining their degree of relaxation. We measured the changes of EEG of outpatients with mental problem before and after cognitive behavioral therapy. As a result, we understood the effectiveness of this therapy and estimated the reliability of this ratio.
