Sound Source Tracking via Two Microphones Based on Approximation of Trigonometric Functions

Abstract(in English) A method of sound source tracking by two microphones is studied. In this paper, sound source tracking is assumed to be implemented to DSP (Digital Signal Processor). However, libraries of trigonometric functions are not often available in DSP. Therefore, it is often difficult to use the trigonometric functions. Therefore, it is necessary to use approximate values. In the proposed method, Taylor series expansion is applied to approximate the trigonometric functions. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by several experimental results.
