Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are many rhythmic activities in a brain. The oscillations have different frequency. From the results using animal brain slices, the oscillations can be induced like bursts. They can modulate the synaptic plasticity long-term potentiation dependent on the phase of each rhythm. During the oscillation, the population neuronal spike propagates. The cross coupling of the different frequencies of the rhythmic phenomena can modulate the learning process in a brain. The brain use the phenomena to process the memory.
