Abstract(in English) Flexible spectrum access technology is required to change the bandwidth and channel frequency flexibly for cognitive radio using white spectrum and 5G system supporting various applications from narrowband to broadband. For the purpose of flexible spectrum access, the authors have proposed an overlap FFT filter-bank using smoothing techniques to reduce adjacent channel interference (ACI), but ACI increases and BER performance is degraded in case of narrowband signal. This report proposes a novel overlap FFT filter-bank with variable overlap length to solve this problem and describes performance evaluation results by computer simulations.
