Abstract(in English) | From the viewpoint of privacy protection and communication reliability, it is necessary to hide every relationship between the persistent device identifiers of communication endpoints and their link identifiers as well as providing a non-repudiation for sending messages in the future IoT applications. For this issue, using authorized temporarily-assigned multiple link identifiers, called pseudonym, is one possible approach. However, previous works may suffer from large communication cost and re-allocation of pseudonyms due to limitations of base cryptographic algorithms. To address these problems, this paper proposes a scalable and flexible pseudonym and key allocation method. The numerical analysis shows that the proposed allocation method outperforms related approaches in terms of scalability of pseudonym allocation. The computational cost in communication endpoints are also evaluated in this paper. |
