A study of Particle Rellocation Method in Design of IIR Filter Using PSO

Abstract(in English) We propose design of IIR(Infinite Impulse Response) filters using PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization). In this paper, when the stagnation occurs, particle rellocation space is determined based on multiple global bests to avoid the local minimum stagnation using multiple PSO. In the previous method, some swarms were selected randomly excepted for a stagnation swarm for determining rellocation space. On the other hand, in this paper, selecting some swarm far from the stagnation swarm to expand rellocation space. Several design examples are shown to verify the design performance.
