Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently, the fifth generation mobile communications system (5G) has been technically discussed very well to support use case scenarios that 4G has not been considered . The usage scenarios include massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC), in which huge amount of Internet of Things (IoT) devices with low cost access to the network, as a typical scenario in 5G. When it is possible that huge amount of user devices closely spaced or adjacent to each other simultaneously access to a radio base station in mMTC, high correlated channels between user devices occur in such case. Therefore, it is significant to evaluate the channel correlation characteristics in mMTC. This paper evaluates the convergence characteristics of message passing algorithm (MPA) and the bit error rate characteristics corresponding to the signal detection accuracy of MPA for Low Density Signature (LDS) and Sparse Code Multiple Access (SCMA) promising non-orthogonal multiple access schemes in 5G mMTC uplink transmission, as their fundamental characteristics.
