Inspection of cavity in the concrete using FBTS Algorithm with Multigrid Algorithm

Abstract(in English) In cavity survey in a concrete structure using electromagnetic waves, it is often the case that the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna can be set up only on one surface of the concrete structure. In this case, in the exploration of a large cavity, only the cavity near the concrete surface is reconstructed, so it is difficult to specify the size of the cavity. Therefore, we introduce the concept of multi grid for division of search area. That is, the cavity survey is performed roughly with a coarse grid and is corrected with a fine grid. Furthermore, the reconstruction image is made up for a deficiency in the cavity by restriction. The FBTS method is used for solving the inverse problem and the same current source is used for all multigrid levels. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by numerical calculation.
