Abstract(in English) In mobile networks, network monitoring for access traffic is important for efficiently utilizing network resources. In this article, we consider a change-point detection technique for mobile access traffic to detect a time instant when the number of mobile terminals connecting to base stations are changed dramatically. A subspace tracking-based change-point detection scheme has been proposed so far. In this scheme, change-points are detected by regarding the numbers of mobile terminals in multiple base stations as data points in the multi-dimensional space. This scheme is designed under the assumption that the total traffic volume is not changed between before and after a change-point. We extend this scheme in order to apply it to a more general case that the total traffic volume is changed.
