QoE Assessment of Simultaneous Transmission Methods in Multi-View Video and Audio Transmission with MPEG-DASH

Abstract(in English) In this report, we consider simultaneous transmission of Multi-View Video and Audio (MVV-A) with MPEG-DASH. MPEG-DASH can change video quality depending on network condition by preparing multi-bitrate encoded videos in advance. In simultaneous transmission, the minimum bitrate videos of unselected viewpoints are transmitted with the selected viewpoint video. When we can select a viewpoint from four viewpoints, we compare the simultaneous transmission with the selected single viewpoint transmission. We conduct a subjective experiment under various network conditions and assess QoE.
