Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Service robots should take actions suitable for situation and based on interpretation of human actions and intentions. In this paper, we propose a learning system using partial observation Markov decision process for multimodal communication under dynamic environment. In addition, we have evaluated our learning system offline as a preliminary study. We verified the change of the value function and the behavior in the case with or without touch panel. We have demonstrated that robustness of multimodal communication under dynamic environment can be improved by an additional interface such as touch panel.
