Abstract(in English) The surface plasmon sensor is possible to detect to the target medium by using the excitation of surface plasmon polariton (SPP) for varying the refractive index. For this purpose, the diffraction grating method was focus on. From the dependence of the reflective and transmittance of the ethanol on the period change and incident angle was confirmed that it is possible to control the SPP excited angle. The sensitivity and figure of merit about was also evaluated.
