Fabrication and optical characterization of the optical element by the Au two-dimensional diffraction grating structure

Abstract(in English) For the realization of the optical mirror, we fabricated the Au two-dimensional diffraction grating using an electron beam lithography technology and a liftoff process and evaluated an optical characterization. As the result, in the double-layer the Au two-dimensional diffraction grating which we omitted a liftoff process and could make, a decrease in reflectance was shown by the absorption in the Au and the resist interface in the whole visible light. On the other hand in the single-layer Au two-dimensional diffraction grating, a greatest peak of the reflectance was seen in specific wavelength area. From these results, it is found the wavelength range can be applied to optical mirror by this structure.
