Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, ultra-high definition video delivery service such as 4K/8K resolution is well underway for the next generation broadcasting, and the wired network role for its popularization is now becoming more important. IP broadcasting scheme for multi-channel 4K/8K content delivery by wired network have been studied. In this paper, we propose a redundant configuration of a link between the multiplexer for super multi-channel IP broadcasting network for multi-content providers (CPs), and compare the switching period between Join method and Static method for the traffic switching. The proposed configuration indicates the unavailability is less than that of the existing system for a single CP, while the unavailability of the configuration in which the existing configuration is applied to multi-CPs is worsen by the increase of the CPs. The Static method archives about 3.9 times faster than the Join method at the switching period for 1000 channels.
