Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | 5G is expected to realize enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), massive Machine Type Communication (mMTC) and Ultra Reliability and Low Latency Communication (URLLC) in order to support diverse applications and services. Frequency-domain multiplexing of mixed numerology, which is able to accommodate different numerologies, has been discussed for 5G because the requirements are different for each application. However, mixed numerology causes inter sub-band interference. In this paper, we investigate the reduction of inter sub-band interference by applying filtered-OFDM (f-OFDM), which is a new waveform, instead of the conventional Cyclic Prefix OFDM (CP-OFDM).To this end, we conducted an outdoor experiment and measured the performance gains of f-OFDM. As the result, we show that f-OFDM can realize mixed numerology by reducing the impact due to inter sub-band interference. |
