Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Research on intelligent transportation systems aimed at improving the safety of automobiles and comfort of drivers is actively conducted, and it is expected that a number of applications will appear. In addition, with the diversification of applications, necessary data are increasing. However, since information collectable by one vehicle is limited, information acquired by another vehicle is shared by vehicle-to-vehicle data communication in which vehicles communicate with each other. In vehicle-to-vehicle data communication, transmission of malicious data or tampering with data may lead to a serious accident. Therefore, it is necessary to have a mechanism toconfirm the authenticity of the sender and the integrity of the data. Further, vehicles are equipped with sensors capable of acquiring position information of a forward vehicle. In this research, we propose a method to verify electronic signature by using both information received by vehicle-to-vehicle data communication and sensor information. Simulation evaluation confirmed reduction of the number of times of verification compared with existing method.
