Statistical properties of Colour HoG

Abstract(in English) We extend the HoG method to three channel images which are captured by commercial RGB cameras. Firstly, the recognition results depend on car-types and directions of cars for car-image detabase. Secondly, using a single channel image from a triplet of RGB images for each image, the recognition rates for the G-channel images a larger than these for gray-valued images. Thirdly we compared difference of recognition rates for virious 3-channel colour space.
