Focal Point Designing of Focusing Ultrasonic Probe with Acoustic Lens

Abstract(in English) A focal point of a focusing ultrasonic probe was designed by the simulation. The angular aperture was considered as designing parameter, and the relationship between the angular aperture and the focal point was investigated. Focal point was largely affective by the angular aperture, and the edge wave is largely affective when the angular aperture becomes small. On the other hand, the direct wave is largely affective when the angular aperture becomes large. The frequency of ultrasonic probe was evaluated by reflected signal of a stainless ball. The frequency was obtained by the time difference of the signal but FFT.
