Abstract(in English) Research on new materials and structures is important to devise novel terahertz (THz) semiconductor devices. We focus on nanocarbon materials, such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and graphene as candidate materials for THz use. We measured the time-domain responses of vertically-aligned CNTs (CNT forest) deposited on GaAs substrate, Graphene and CNT-coated nonwoven fabric to elucidate their electrical properties in the THz region.
