[Panel Discussion] The Ground-to-Train Communication using Millimeter-wave

Abstract(in English) The ground-to-train communication system has been introduced to communicate between the train crew and dispatcher. But it is used VHF and/or UHF band. Therefore, these are narrow band. In recent years, there are strong needs the high speed data transmission between the ground and the running train. Therefore, it has been requested to obtain the new wideband frequency resources and to devolop the new radio communication system. In this report, we introduce the new ground-to-train communication system using millimeter-wave band.millimeter-wave band.
