Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The millimeter-wave (MMW) and Tera-hertz wave technologies are expected for more application. We need to assess biological and health effects of these waves. This study investigated the effects of 70-300 GHz radiation on the proliferation, activity and non-thermal effect of human cultured cells. The cells were exposed to MMW with low power and long time. Our results suggest that exposure to 700-300 GHz has no significant effect on cells activity in human cell culture.
