Abstract(in English) With the spread of liquid crystal displays (LCDs) in recent years, there is an increasing demand for LCDs with higher image quality and higher definition. In order to realize this, it is necessary to reduce the pixels of the display, to increase the switching speed of the liquid crystal, and the like. To solve these problems, we propose a liquid crystal display device using a waveguide different from conventional liquid crystal display elements.
