Abstract(in English) | The previous study reported that perceived sense of reality from multimodal contents can be enhanced by adding full-body vibration information. However, almost all contents which people can easily use only include audio-visual information. We investigated how effective vibration information is generated from other sensory information. In this study, vibration information was generated from low frequency components of audio information (audio-based vibration information: ABVI) and added to audio-visual content. The results of experiment revealed that generated vibration information can enhance perceived reality from multi-modal contents even when the power of generated vibration was lower than that of original vibration. |
