Abstract(in English) Camera-attached Trocar is a Surgical instrument that storage / deployment type camera attached to the port of a trocar, which can acquire an abdominal image of a different viewpoint from the endoscope, without opening extra hole in the abdominal wall, thereby enlarging the field of view. In this study, we evaluated the impact of using Camera-attached Trocar by task experiment and animal experiment. As a result, a significant difference was obtained from the number of mis-operation in the task experiment, and the application scene in actual surgery was confirmed in the animal experiment. This shows the usefulness of a trocar with a camera in an endoscopic surgical procedure.
